Don't you wish Tanielle was YOUR FIRL (friend in real life)?

Tanielle's the kind of girl that just likes to do sweet things for people. Here's what I mean: A little while back I did this post. You'll have to go read it to understand this gift.

About a week later Tanielle brought this over to me. She made it for me as a "reminder" to have in my home always! I love it!

As many of you know we are not only friends, but business partners as well. We make lots of darling things to sell, while our girls ooh and ahh and wonder when we'll get around to making some for them! My girls especially love the bow holders, which happen to be Tanielle's specialty. Last week she showed up with these. Forgive the editing to protect my children's privacy...I think you can still get the idea of how adorable they are!

It's hard to see in this picture, but the pattern on this is actually red bandana! It's for Cowgirl's new room we're working on. It has a red bandana and denim theme.

They have a lot more bows than this, but I have a hard time getting them to leave them put! They think their dolls and horses need to wear them too!

I feel blessed to have such a sweet and thoughtful friend who is so creative and talented too! Send good thoughts her way, as she is suffering extreme morning sickness as well as her little one-year-old suffering with croup!

I hope all of you are lucky enough to have good friends in your life who uplift and inspire you!

Friendship is a chain of gold
shaped in God's all perfect mold.

Each link a smile, a laugh, a tear,
A touch of the hand, a world of cheer.

I seriously just got done commenting on her blog saying it is NOT fair she actually knows you in "real" life! Cute girly hair clips....& I ♥ that sign she made! That scripture is a very important one in my life...from personal experience it is one that really touches me and reminds me that God will be the final judge and protect his children no matter what!

How thoughtful! I think you are both keepers. :)
THAT is sweet. :)

See...the thing is that even though I can ATTEMPT to make my own hair thingies for the girls--they LOOK like I attempted to make my own hair thingies for the girls. ;) Sometimes there are some that are too cute to pass up--like some I've seen in your shop!!!

It's the ones with actual ribbon that I cannot get right to save my life. Just gluing a flower on a clip? I can do that much. The ones you make are ART!!!!! :)

Good friends are certainly one of God's greatest gifts. What a blessing to have such a dear one.

And thanks for your suggestion to join EM:ME. I always enjoy reading your posts. I am know I wrote about going on a diet, but I am not sure I am ready to go public on a weekly basis. But I will think about joining your fun.

She is a great friend! That stuff is way cute! and I hate that she is having such a rough time right now! Morning sickness and a sick little one stinks!
I can tell how much you like each other just from what you both put on your blogs. You guys are so lucky to have each other and such a wonderful friendship. I agree, I think having uplifting, sincere, true, loyal friends is one of the best things in life.

Yay for lasting friendships! I recently had to stand back and watch one of my best friends sink into a crazy depression/personality change and we haven't been the same sense. I miss her so much and wish that all my fighting for our friendship would have helped. I'm so glad for you and yours!

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Occupational hazard for me! Sound 1. My baby (okay she's 2 now!) whispering "secrets" in my ear. 2. My kiddo's giggles. 3. My husband's singing. He has a very nice si

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at!
