So I thought I would like to post today about the beautiful weather, my joy at being able to go to a beautiful chapel to worship, some of the uplifting and spiritual things I heard while at church, and share my testimony of the true and everlasting gospel.
I've decided to share a scripture with you instead:
Mark 9:42 "And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea."
To me this means, if you hurt a little child, you're in BIG TROUBLE. I have to remind myself of this constantly. Today was no exception.
Monkey had to use the bathroom. I helped her take her church dress off so she could go. She always calls me when she's done because she still needs help wiping. Actually what she does is yell "TOILET PAPER PLEASE!" at the top of her lungs.
I dutifully went in when I was summoned, and found her buck naked and green. The toilet water was also green, and she had a green marker in her pudgey little hand, and was trying to hide her face in "shame" (with that ridiculous smile on her face!)
I made her pose for mug shots:
You can't see it very well in this picture, but her teeth were green too.
I then told her to go get some clothes on. The next time I saw her she was in this get-up:
Yes, the swiming suit is on backwards creating the oh-so-glamorous and modest "wrestler" look.
It's a good thing I have that scripture to remind me not to beat her! Oh yeah, and this picture too:

She is precious!! Love the dress-up wrestler costume!
Be careful Momma, I colored on myself as a little girl too and now I'm tattooed! Well just one, but it's forevah!
Have a great night.
Thanks for sharing! Don't forget Recipe Swap tomorrow
Love that scripture!!!!
My daughter used to do this with lipstick.
Have a great day.

Love that little get up!
I agree with this scripture. They are so precious in his sight.
Love the green machine too :) So kid huh.
I wrestle with that "don't hurt 'em" / "spare the rod, spoil the child" thing all the time. At that point I usually take a Xanax and post about it when I can laugh.
:-)
Too funny!
Well this looks as if it could be one of my kids :) hee hee!
Thanks for letting me stop by!
i love that scripture!! we memorize that passage (from matthew 18, though, instead of mark) in 1st grade!
