She's at it again.

So I thought I would like to post today about the beautiful weather, my joy at being able to go to a beautiful chapel to worship, some of the uplifting and spiritual things I heard while at church, and share my testimony of the true and everlasting gospel.

I've decided to share a scripture with you instead:

Mark 9:42 "And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea."

To me this means, if you hurt a little child, you're in BIG TROUBLE. I have to remind myself of this constantly. Today was no exception.

Monkey had to use the bathroom. I helped her take her church dress off so she could go. She always calls me when she's done because she still needs help wiping. Actually what she does is yell "TOILET PAPER PLEASE!" at the top of her lungs.

I dutifully went in when I was summoned, and found her buck naked and green. The toilet water was also green, and she had a green marker in her pudgey little hand, and was trying to hide her face in "shame" (with that ridiculous smile on her face!)

I made her pose for mug shots:

I think this is where she tried to wash it off her leg with toilet water, hence, the green toilet water!

You can't see it very well in this picture, but her teeth were green too.

I then told her to go get some clothes on. The next time I saw her she was in this get-up:

Yes, the swiming suit is on backwards creating the oh-so-glamorous and modest "wrestler" look.

It's a good thing I have that scripture to remind me not to beat her! Oh yeah, and this picture too:

OhmydearLord, she and Natalie could be long lost cousins! They would surely get into double trouble. Natalie's *weapon* of choice is the Sharpie marker--on T's beloved coffee table. She "distressed" it. Yep....

She is precious!! Love the dress-up wrestler costume!
You are going to be so glad that you have those pics when she is...oh say...18?!?!?!

Why do they do that? Why? My 2 year old is fats-tracking into the terrible 3s... Thank you for that scripture. Because I need a reality check sometimes. :) I guess if we spent more time outdoors he wouldn't get into so much stuff! Yay for sunshine! I'll give it a go!

What a funny memory SOME DAY! Not always funny at the moment. Great verse to think about!
I am cracking up looking at those pix!! Why, oh why do they do these things?! What's with the coloring her tongue for crying out loud!!!

I wrestle with that "don't hurt 'em" / "spare the rod, spoil the child" thing all the time. At that point I usually take a Xanax and post about it when I can laugh.
:-)
Too funny!
