If you're here for Amy's Round Robin and want my recipe for the most delicious brownies you'll ever make, go here.
Now...here'as a fun idea for a pay it forward, that won't break the bank! I'm just going to paste this pretty much word for word from Life At Eventually Cottage, which is where I got this idea:
Dollar Store Challenge!!!
Welcome to the Dollar Store Challenge! You need to put your creative thinking caps on for this one, guys! The challenge is to search your local dollar store, or the dollar spots at your favorite store. Create a home decor item or a gift using only items from the spots I just mentioned, and supplies that you already have on hand.
The total cost of the item that you create CANNOT exceed $5!!! The purpose of this challenge is to show that it is possible, with some creativity to create great things without a lot of money. It can be done! Should you agree to take on this challenge, you must:
1. Post about it on your blog
2. Link back to this post.
3. Comment here to let me know that you are participating . If you comment that you are willing to participate, please be sure that you do. Thank you!
The FIRST person to comment on your post regarding this challenge will be the recipient of your item (a pay it forward)! You will then create an item using the criteria above. If you would like to participate, but feel that you are not the creative type: You can put together a small gift package that includes cute items that you found at the sources above, but it MUST not exceed $5 in total cost. The item MUST be mailed to the recipient NO LATER THAN JULY 8th!!! (if you post about this, you can extend the deadline for 2 months from the date of your post for YOUR readers) The description of the item, and the shipping date should remain a surprise!!!
So who wants to participate in this fun pay it forward? Leave me a comment! Remember, the first one to comment on my post will be the recipient of my creation!
