Spreadin' the love and an apology from the biggest slacker in blog land

I've been kind of an awards slacker recently. I've had a few lovely awards bestowed upon me by some awesome fellow bloggers whom I just adore! And now I get to pass them on. But first I need to apologize. You see, I've been making sure to keep a list when people give me awards so that I know who to thank when I post about them. Well my computer went down a while back, and did not retrieve the most updated verson of the list...so some of them are missing!

I know that I have been given the Mom of the Year award, and the Lemonade award back in March. I love you for thinking of me, and I apologize for not posting sooner, and losing your info! If it was you please let me know...I'm going to keep searching!

I also received the lovely Lemonade award from Vivienne. She is a fairly new bloggy friend and I love, love, LOVE reading her blog. Y'all should go check her out because she's hilarious!

The Rules of Accepting and Sharing this Award
1.Put the logo on your blog or post
2. Nominate at least 10 blogs that show an attitude of gratitude
3. Link to your nominees within your post
4.Comment on their blogs to let them know they've received this award
5.Share the love and link to this post and the person who nominated you for the award. Tell us how you've come to have an attitude of gratitude

It's pretty easy to come by a grateful attitude when you are blessed beyond measure. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for a wonderful husband who supports me no matter what I want to do.

I'm blessed with 4 beautiful children who are kind and good and although somewhat obnoxious, try hard to do what's right!

I can't believe my great fortune in joining this blogging community and meeting so many wonderful new friends who inspire me with their insight and creativity, motivate me with their encouragement, and make me laugh with their humor. Thank you all!

I'm grateful for a roof over my head, food in my pantry, and an income for my family (courtesy of hubby!)

I'm most grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me and an Older Brother who died for me and has shown me the way back to Him.

I'd like to pass this award to the following wonderful ladies:

Tabitha, One Girlie Girl, Liz, shortmama, Joy For Your Journey , 3 Peas in a Pod, Maridith, Fine Al Thoughts, Connie, Anissa!

Love you ladies and I love reading your blogs!

Next I have been awarded a brand new award created by The Masked Mommy! She was one of my very first boggy friends I met when I started blogging. I just love reading her posts and I feel like she's my long lost twin we are so much the same!

She had given me the Super Blogger Award!

Here's what you do when you have received the "Super Blogger" award:
Tape it up on your blog somewhere.
Pass it along to 5 fellow super bloggers, and comment on their blog to let them know how lucky they are today!
When you present your Super Blogger awards, link back to the super blogger who gave it to you.

I'd like to pass this award along to the following Super Bloggers:

Amy, Jen, Sturgmom, JenJen, Marrdy - I love reading your Super Blogs, and love getting the sweet comments you all leave me!

This concludes this edition of Spreadin' The Love...and my deepest heartfelt apologies to those ladies who have honored me with awards and I lost the info! If you see this please forgive me AND let me know what a slacker I am by forgetting you.

Thanks so much for the award! That was so sweet of you. I appreciate it very much. And I am going to have fun finding people to pass it on to. Thanks also for your list of the things you are grateful for. Lists like that always remind me of my own blessings.

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
