Snow, Snow go away!

So Amanda says I'm not allowed to complain about the weather anymore.

To keep from pouting, I decided to post some fun pictures from back when I wasn't hatin' the snow.

We woke up Christmas morning to piles of the gorgeous white stuff. There is something so magical about freshly fallen snow on christmas. It kept snowing off and on for the next few days.

This picture was taken the evening of the 26th. It's the sidewalk that comes from my driveway along the front of my porch, and up to my porch steps.

I had my walkway lined with those little lighted spiral Christmas trees. I think they're about 18" with the star on top. We thought this looked so cool when we opened the door to look out, so we had to snap a couple pictures!

I want everyone to know that even though I'm whining about the snow in April, I really love it at Christmastime! But it's time for spring, green grass and flowers now! If I'm gonna have snow on the ground, Santa better start bringin' me some more gifts!!

I hope you're all having a wonderful Thursday, and I have a really fun post for tomorrow, so make sure to stop by again!

Snow in April is for the birds! I'm supposed to be reading a book titled Snow in April for the Literacy Sisters blog, but I just can not get into it. I know that's random. I'm weird. I hope you have lots of bright sunshiney days ahead!

Have a great day!!
Well bummer! I know you're ready for spring. And good job remembering back to the day when the glass was half full. Actually, I'm a bit jealous of all of you who have actual seasons. I'm in SoCal... we have seasons too, but they are Fire, Rain, Mudslides and Earthquakes. I'll tune back in tomorrow for your post. (Will it be to tell us the year of the prom pix?)

Do April snow showers still bring May flowers? I hope your weather improves very soon. It wouldn't be nice to tell you it's 62 and sunny out right now, so I won't. ;)
I couldn't agree with you more about snow at Christmas! We finally have some decent weather and no snow forcasted..yet. I'm an optimist. Love the lights under the snow...they really glow!

I'm pretty sure I shed a tear when I saw a Winter Wonderland out the windows this morning. I was soooo READY to NOT see snow until at least October!! I feel you.

It definitely is beautiful...but I agree. This is April for goodness sake! I just can't believe you still have snow. My parents who live in Alaska do, but I expect that!! ;)
I have had it with the snow too! It snowed this afternoon too! I heard that it's supposed to get up into the 70's next week. I hope so!!!

XOXO

Since you aren't allowed to complain anymore do you want me to do it for you? I WANT SPRING WEATHER!!! Now. Cause I'm sick of cold, rainy, windy, snowy freakin' weather. I need sun and warmth and maybe a slight tan to feel human already!

There...does that help?!
I have an award for you at my blog today :-)

OH NO!

I am so sorry for you, that totally sucks! I grant you permission to complain, like it matters!
I loved looking at your pictures! Sorry, but it made me very thankful to be living in AZ. Although in July I will want to get the pictures out and look at them again--in hopes it will make me feel cooler.

How beautiful! We got snow here in Louisiana a couple of weeks before Christmas. We had the best time -- it had been 13 years since it snowed.
Looooove snow at Christmas!! I wondered what those lights under the snow were...I was guessing maybe sidewalk lights. Very cool. Hope you get some Springy weather soon. :)

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t
