Playground Weather AT LAST!

So I know you've all heard me mumblin' and grumblin' around the blogosphere about the stinkin' weather we've been having. Snow storms off and on the whole month!

Well, today was absolutely beautiful! It's supposed to snow again on Wednesday, so we took the kids to the park to enjoy the sunshine! I didn't forget my camera this time, and I was so excited about the weather, I got a little carried away! You'll be my BFF if you make it all the way to the bottom of this post! I hope the sun is shining on you!

The view of the beautiful mountains from where I stood:

The girlies flyin high on the swings:

Remember slides? My butt would get stuck if I tried to go down one now!

Sorry to hear about all the snow, but what a beautiful day!

I just love the pictures you took of the mountains -- we would love to move some where with that view.

Your little girl is just too cute.

They look like they had a wonderful time.

Where are you from?
Oh my... those mountains are just beautiful! Where are you? I'll have to see if you say that somewhere on your blog. The kids look like they had a great day! We were planning to go for a walk today. They said it was supposed to get up to 51 degrees, but it only got up to 40 at our house and we were freezing, so we didn't go!
Someday soon we'll have nice warm weather!
WOW!! It is BEAUTIFUL where you live!!! I am jealous of your mountain views- nothing like that here in Central Texas. Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful pictures with us!!

I love the mountains. I use to live where there were mountains. I love that your children are not wearing coats.

It was 68 degrees here in New Mexico and I was LOVIN' the weather, too! Parks are the best. BTW loved your comment about layin' down some hurt with the arguing kiddos. With three competetive girls ages 9,8, and 6 I SO feel your pain! Have a great week!
Wasn't it nice today?? We had a great time outside! What cute pictures!

XOXO

I made it to the end of the post--so I guess that makes me your new BFF! Cute pictures. I was amazed the grass was so green with all the snow. Hopefully the snows will go away one of these days, but unfortunately when the weather is nice in Utah, it is miserable here in AZ!
Ohhhh you have mountains....I want mountains....or at least to see them and take pictures...

Looks like you guys had a great time! Hoping we have nice weather soon, we are just itching for some park time!

gosh, I could look at the mountain pictures all day long...thanks for sharing!
What a great day! And how cool that your husband could go too. It's always more fun when everybody is there.

And I love the pix of your "monkey" and her new buddy. How great that kids can be insta-friends.

OK, I'm stating for the record that you are NO LONGER allowed to complain about the measly weather when you can see the MOUNTAINS when you're at the park!!

We're in TX. Have you ever been to TX? The best thing we see at the park is....much less stellar than the FREAKIN' MOUNTAINS!! ;)

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
