Just keepin' it REAL.

Okay...I knew this tag was going around...and thought I better start doing myself up all cute every. single. day. I should have listened to myself!!!

Heidi from Blue Eyed Blessings tagged me...I know it's just because she thought I should've posted a picture of myself in my brother's wedding post - so she came up with a way to force me to post my picture! You wretched woman...remember what they say about payback?

Okay, I actually really think she's adorable. Wish I could say the same about me. Here's the tag:
Keepin' it Real
Here are the rules:
Take a picture of yourself right now.
No primping or preparing.
Just snap a picture.
Load the picture onto your blog.
Tag some people to play.
NO CHEATING!
Thanks for tagging me Heidi, especially when I just broke out and have 5 million zits. This is for you!

I'm sittin' in my favorite blogging spot, in my corner of the couch. The fabulous hair is the result of taking a shower late last night, then going straight to bed because I was too tired to dry or do anything with my hair. Just pulled it in a ponytail this morning...isn't it fabulous?

Okay, I would say I feel bad to pass this along, but I really don't - you can't look worse than this!!!

I tag:

Molly from A Bit O' Shine

Jennykate77 from JennyKate's Spot

Ashley from Domestic Diva's Fancy

Ryan Ashley Scott from Optimistic Cynicism

Sara from The Breathing Post

Have fun ladies!!!

Update...I just got tagged by Shortmama at Family of Shorts for this too - Double Whammy!

Oh-sweetie. You look fine, and just for the record I look about the same as you. Since I stay at home with the kids...I rarely get all gussied up during the day, unless I know that I've got company coming or I'm going out!!

Besides, you've got a sick kiddo. Hope she's feeling better!

That is great! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I don't think I'll be spending an entire day on a tractor cake anytime soon! LOL. I try to regulate myself about Big Lots by just not going near it because when I do, I always find something! :)

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
