I Made My Own Subway Art!

I'm so proud of myself!  Up until now, my version of creating subway art was finding a free download online, printing it up and slapping it in a frame.  Please tell me that is how most of you do it too.  No?  Dang.

I don't usually decorate for Valentine's Day.  I always see cute things online, and think that I will.  But then I never seem to get around to it.  This year I have seen a few things that I decided I will for sure do.  And I'm not going to let myself off the hook for it, because I think when I have some fun new elements to my decor, it really lifts my spirits.  And if you read my post from Saturday - you know I kind of have the blahs right now.

Yesterday I was looking at my "printables" pin board, and as I looked at the different, cute Valentine's Day subway art printables, I thought, "Hey - I bet I could make this in MyMemories Suite."  So I decided to give it a try.  Guess what?  I totally did it!!  I know that for most a few of you, this is a lame thing for me to be excited about - because you whip up stuff like this in your sleep.  But for me it was a big accomplishment, okay?

Here's how it turned out:

Guess what else?  If you want to print this up and slap it in a frame - you can totally have it!  Just enlarge it,  right click, and choose the "save as" option and you're good to go!

I'm telling you guys - this program is so much fun. The giveaway for this software is now closed (winner to be announced tomorrow), but you can still purchase yours at a very reasonable price PLUS a $10 discount for being one of my awesome readers!  Just click here and use the code STMMMS392  at checkout.

In other news, this is what went on in my neck of the woods over the weekend:

It seems dull for the first little bit, but just keep watching.  I couldn't tear my eyes away, but it literally made me sick to my stomach to watch.  Because I know that feeling of literally having no control of your vehicle, and just sliding wherever the road takes you, not knowing how you'll end up.  I actually got a little shaky watching this.  Watch the whole thing.  I promise you that by the end it will take your breath away.  Seriously.

Winter...just go away already!!  Remember how I said that once Christmas is over, snow in the valley is only a road hazard?  I rest my case.

I hope you all had an enjoyable and SAFE weekend!
