Tagged and an Award (twice!)

I feel so honored! I have been given the Kreative Blogger Award by Tanielle and Swoozie - 2 great friends, one old and one new!! Thank you so much ladies - you're so sweet!

Here are the award rules: List 7 things that you love and then pass the award on to 7 bloggers you love! Be sure to tag them and let them know they have won! You can copy the picture of the award and put it on your sideboard letting the whole world know.....you are KREATIV!
Seven things I love:
1 - My Savior - the source of my peace and joy.
2 - My family. Both immediate and extended - what a wonderful support system!
3 - My ward family - the most caring wonderful neighbors you could ask for.
4 - The smell of rain on concrete.
5 - Food. All kinds!
6 - Back rubs - My husband gives the most relaxing massages!
7 - Blogging - of course!

And the award goes to:
Pixeltrash at Pixeltrashamania

I love reading your blogs - they make me smile, laugh, and feel motivated to do great things!
Now, onto the tag! This is a fun one. Sarah at The Breathing Post tagged me with this Confession Tag. Here are the rules: Copy and paste the whole questionnaire and replace my answers with yours. You have to state and create a link for the blogger who tagged you. Pass to 4 other bloggers. Remember to inform them by commenting on their recent post. Display the logo anywhere on your blog. Last, answer each question with truth and nothing but the truth since this is a confession tag. Have Fun!
1)What is your blogger name? Xazmin
2) When is your birthday? July 16
3) How long have you been blogging? Since January of this year.
4) Who tagged you? Sara
5 ) Tell me your 5 most favorite body parts. My eyes, my feet, my ears, my toes and my ankles.
6) What do you wish most for your birthday? New carpet
7) What color are your nails now? fingernail color
8) Any depressing thoughts lately? I owe taxes.
9) What's your next 1 month's plan? To get my oldest daughter's basement room finished because she really needs it!
10) At what age did you have your 1st crush? 8... Danny M. We stayed friends all growing up - he lives close to my parents still, and is still really cute!
11) Did you attend any school reunion after you graduated till now? nope.
12) Have you ever passed gas in public and pretended you didn't smell anything? Hasn't everyone?
13) Are you a clean freak? I wish!
14) Which era do you wish you were born into? I love today. I really do. I do wish we still had some of the chivalry and respect these days among young people though, like the generations past.
15) Are you a vegetarian? Are you kidding? I eat vegetarians for breakfast!
16) How many pillows do you sleep with at night? just one.
17) Are you a light sleeper or an I-don't-care-if -there's-a-bomb-here sleeper? Very light sleeper.
18) Do you secretly wear comfortable granny panties when your man is not around? Lets just say the purpose of my underwear is NOT for sex appeal.
19) What is your ultimate dream job? I'd love to be a party planner!
20) What is it your hubby does that annoys you the most? He starts to tell me or ask me something, and he'll lose his train of thought in the middle, and totally forget what he was saying! It is so annoying because I am so nosey and want to know what he was gonna say!
21) What is your dream car? I want a Mustang Saline
22) Do you easily wake up in the morning? No! I HATE waking up!
23) Do you like hairy men? Not too hairy, but a little doesn't bother me.
24) How about goateed men? Depends on the man.
25) Which one would you prefer, 2 hour spa, 2 hour Thai Massage or 2 hour foot massage? 2 hour massage, that would be so nice!
26) Have you ever wished you had a different name other than your real name? What name is that? All the time! I don't have a particular name in mind, but something that people could pronounce would be nice! When I was young I used to pretend my name was Victoria, but that people called me Vicky for short.
27) What is the most extreme sport you have ever done? Tackle Football
28) Do you prefer traveling in Europe or Asia? Probably Europe. I've been to neither - so can't really say!
29) What is your favorite food? Depends on the day!
And Finally,
30) What is the most embarrassing moment when you were out on a date? I can't really think of anything on a date- but I have plenty of others from the rest of my life!

I am also wanting carpet. We pulled ours up last spring and the hardwood floors echo something awful upstairs. You hear every little thing that hits the floor.

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
