Mod Podge Mania Preview...

Just wanted to give you a little preview for next week's 1st monthly Mod Podge Mania!

The project that inspired this fun feature was this Mod Podge egg project. Go here to see the details of how to turn these:

into this:

I also have been working on these fabulous coasters for my Spring Fling winners - I'll be finished today friends...I promise! These take time, but are NOT hard. I learned how to make them here.

There are soooo many fun things you can do with Mod Podge. I made a shower gift for my soon to be little sis-in-law, and am making another one for Saturday. Here's a "tease" of what I will be sharing for Mod Podge Mania.
I'll share my second gift in an upcoming edition! So this upcoming Tuesday, March 31st will be our first edition of Mod Podge Mania...I'm reminding you now so you can use the weekend to get your projects finished! Or maybe you already have something done that you want to share! Or maybe you just saw an idea online that you want to share...the whole point is for everyone to get some great new ideas for creating with Mod Podge!

So get your pictures together - be prepared... and make sure to come back on March 31st and link up for Mod Podge Mania!

Can't wait to share some of the projects that I've done!
Cute--I do like modge podge, although I am so stinkin' messy with it. I always say I was weened on modge podge--my mom decoupaged a lot!

about the laundry detergent, you'd be surprised at how well it cleans. I have two boys under 10, there's an awful lot of dirt and it does come out clean and smelling fresh. Thankgoodness

Guess what...I'm your 100th follower. Woohoo! I love the tile idea. I recently had an "I'll make the first three commenters something homemade" on my blog and I think this would be a great one...question: Is the cork or felt supposed to be for the bottom of the tile? (I clicked on your link but the written version never specified what the cork/felt was for. I'm assuming to make the coaster scratch-free. LOVE your crafy ideas! Keep 'em coming!
I'm looking forward to seeing all the neat stuff everybody comes up with. Probably won't bring anything to the "show" (I've never modded podge or anything else crafty) but I will enjoy the craft vicariously. :)

I love all your ideas. Going to your blog saves me the trouble of having to search the web! I also loved your Hot Hubby Award. Very sweet!
Wow... those coasters are awesome! I might have to try something like that because we have a ton of tile in the basement. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it all. This would work! Oh... and thank you so much for your generosity in sharing David Boreanaz with me! :-)

So I have 2 large bags of plastic easter eggs waiting to be mod podged, but I haven't had any time. I do have one goofy little project that was my first real mod podge project, so maybe I'll like that up. It's really dinky, though.

The challenge is on! I'm sure there's something I can create...

And, after the Modge Podge is all used up...start working on your button project for Thursday over at my blog. ;)

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t
