The coolest thing happened!

So a couple of weeks ago, the coolest thing happened to me! I was contacted by Shannon. She's the social media director at Shelf Reliance. If you haven't heard of them, you need to go check out their website! They have all sorts of food storage, organization, and preparedness products.

Shannon asked me if I would be interested in doing a review of one of their products, their Cansolidator Pantry. Since you know that food storage, and organization are 2 of my 3 main goals for this year, I'm sure you guessed that of course I said "YES"!

The coolest part? I get to give away one of these babies to one of you! You can visit the link to find out all the specs, and measurements.

These units aren't just for making your canned goods look neat and orderly. They are actually a food rotation system! You place your cans in from the front, top. They roll back to the back then continue up to the bottom front. Therefore, you can grab your can from the front, and add new cans you purchase at the top. You use your oldest cans first! Does that make sense?

This is the picture of the one from my pantry. I picked 4 itmes that I use most frequently...cream soups, tuna, beans (we love mexican food!), and my Extrem Makeover: Me Edition lunch staple, Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup.

You can also add on to these units to allow for more selections. As you can see, the dividers are adjustable for different can sizes - you just set the width to accomodate the different sizes of your cans. I've got the little tuna cans, up to the large soup cans.
You may remember my wonderful accomplishment of getting my pantry cleaned out and organized a few months back. I had to do some adjusting and rearranging, but I got my new system in my pantry, and love that I can now store this many cans of different varieties along with everything else I already had.

If I tried to store this many cans before, I would have had to stack them all on top of each other standing up, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't all have fit because the would be too tall all stacked on each other that way!

They also have much larger systems for those of us who are trying to build up our long-term food storage. I actually have one of those systems in my food storage room! They will accomodate cans as small as tuna fish up to the large #10 size cans (the size of a coffee can).

So would you like to know how you can win your own Shelf Reliance Cansolidator Pantry?

Here's the scoop:
1 entry for going to their website and coming back here to leave a comment on what you saw there. You need to do this first in order to receive any other entries.

1 entry for following me!

For another entry, while you're at their website, sign up to receive the Shelf Reliance News Letter and come back and leave me a comment letting me know you did!

Remember to leave me a separate comment for each thing you do! The giveaway will end 1 week from today - Thursday June 11 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

I really want to get one of their larger shelving units...hopefully once we sell our land and money is a little less tight, that will be one of our first investments!

Hi, I am now following you and I signed up for Shelf Reliance's newsletter! I found your blog from Sarah's blog, Thrifty Decor Chick. Thanks for introducing me to Shelf Reliance! They have some really awesome products and if you really look at the site, you will find that they also provide some really great tips for Emergency Preparedness. I also like that they sell 'Scratch & Dent' items at reduced prices. That is WAY cool! If I had the money, I would probably buy something from their 'Ready Racks' section.

I would blog about this but I'm still working on getting mine up and running. So, for now, I will continue to enjoy yours!

Thanks!

I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at!
