Can Ya Feel It?

Ahhhh Yeah. It's that time again! You know you've been lookin' forward to it all week ... my NKOTB Video Countdown to Vegas!

This week's featured song is another oldie but goodie. It's from a performance they did last month on the Today show. Now an outdoor performance just doesn't have the same rich, full sound as an indoor venue with state of the art accoustics. But the energy of this performance is just so fun that I forgot about all that and just really enjoyed remembering this song!

The only thing that keeps this video from perfection is that they cut away from the guys to this annoying reporter, anchor, whatever you call them that was being a total dweeb. The first time is right in the middle of my boy Joey's part. Can you say irritating?

But I'm over it...remember this song?

This time it's embedded Vivienne...and you know what that means!

UPDATE: Need some more New Kids Fabulousness? I just visited my fellow Blockhead JennyKate, and she has posted a fantastic video that I just love! Go check it out!

Yes, my sweet. I know what embedded means. And see it's funny... I think the cutting away to the reporter is the only redeeming thing in the video!

I'm loving this back and forth between the anti New Kid Viv and the NKOTB lover. It's almost the best part of these posts! : )

Joey is hot! I wasn't sure which one he was. I always had an eye for Donnie. I love the way he dances. I can't believe they can still dance like that after all these years.

Oh, and Vivienne is not winning any points with me today by saying that the dorky reporter moment instead of staying focused on Joey! (good thing I already really like her ;)

I told my daughter Kat about you. She saw them three times before she was 12. She was so jealous. They are going to be in Bham...but she said...Las Vegas sounded like so much more fun....I know you will have a blast...and I am expecting a ton of posts and pictures of this event.

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Sunkissed Citrus Scentsy, and Melon Medley from the Walmart knock-off scents! 3. rubbing alcohol (I know, I need help) 4. along those same lines...nail polish and nail polish remover. Dislike: coffee Touch Like: 1. The click, click of the keyboard beneath my fingers! 2. back massage from my husband - he has magic hands! 3. an ice cold soda can on the back of my neck on a hot summer day! 4.Hot showers Dislike: Hot glue on my fingertips! Occupational hazard for me! Sound 1. My baby (okay she's 2 now!) whispering "secrets" in my ear. 2. My kiddo's giggles. 3. My husband's singing. He has a very nice si

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at!
