And we're off to a FABULOUS Start!

For day #2 of 27 Days of Thankful with my friend Amanda, I would just like to say...I'm thankful for YouTube!!! Yes that's right.

If you know me at all you know of my obsession with SYTYCD. You also know I am in the Young Women's Presidency in my ward. Well, Young Women's is on Tuesday nights, and alas, so is my show. That's why I'm thankful for YouTube today, and especially for "dcclegal" who posted the entire episode (in 9 separate parts!) that I was able to watch last night and see how my favorites did! AND find a couple of new favorites. Oh yes, I'm very fickle at this point in the competition, and reserve my right to change favorites at any time.

So how'd they do? I'll share a few choice videos with you! Ryan and Ashleigh, the married couple from Utah did well, and both remained in the competition. I told you last week the sad news that Billie Bell had to leave the competition due to illness. Here's how another Utah favorite did. These 2 are one of my favorite couples so far! Here's Mollee and Nathan...LOVE this dance! Skip to 1:58 to get right to the dance...but the intro's pretty entertaining too!

Another of my favorites, Legacy the "b-boy" is part of another favorite couple, check out the hip hop "caveman" routine from one of my FAVORITE choreographers Dave Scott (okay, he's no Wade Robson...but then, who is?). Here's Legacy and Kathryn.

Pretty hot stuff, right? And this is just the beginning! They'll just get better and better! Speaking of better - Guess where I'm going on Saturday!?! To see last season's top 10 perform LIVE! Oh I cannot WAIT! So to count down the days, I'm going to be sharing some of my all time FAVORITE routines from the past 6 seasons - 1 each day...aren't you so excited? Well, if not...please don't leave me!

To start it off, here's Sabra (also from Utah! Well, not originally but she was living here when she did the show!) and Neil from season 3. He is incredibly athletic, and this "board room negotiation" Jazz number is one of my faves! Oh, BTW...Sabra won this season!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Monday! Love ya...thanks for all the sweet well wishes for my family!

I'm thankful for you! The only way I watch SYTYCD is via your You Tube uploads!
We saw part of the Caveman dance on The Soup. That crazy, yelling, woo-hoo lady is a nut job!!!

I love the show too...though I could do without Mary Murphy and her hot tamale train yell.

I loved Mollee and Nathan's dance...made me wanna get up and dance right along with them.

I think Ashleigh's getting better but her husband, I think, will be in the competition for quiet awhile!
Hey there! I put MckLinky up with today's 27 Days of Thankful post. Come over when you can! :)

LOVED Neil and Sabra.

So I have yet to see an episode of this show. Crazy I know right? My MIL introduced it to me when we were visiting a few weeks ago. I may have to go poke around and check it out.

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
