It's Official

If I had any doubt as to whether I made the right decision about selling my tickets...it was all washed away when I had a buyer for them less than an hour after I listed them.

Stacie from Seattle is now the proud owner of 2 GA floor seats to New Kids On The Block at the Pearl Theatre in Las Vegas. An intimate, state of the art theatre, with amazing accoustics, and fantastic seats throughout the house. The furthest seat from the stage is only 120 feet away. My tickets will put her close enought to kiss them.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a little choked up when I sealed up the Priority Mail envelope at the Post Office this morning. I know it's just a concert, and I'm being so silly. I don't think I would have such a hard time if it were any other concert.

I think the thing about this show and their comeback that is so sentimental is that it totally brings back the nostalgic feelings of when I was young. It's like I get to have the best of both worlds - the carefree, innocent days of youth, but still have all the blessings of my adult life (Marriage, children, etc.) It was seriously an unreal, amazing feeling the last time I went.

But I'm glad that the tickets went to someone who loves them as much as me! Stacie went to the reunion concert in Michigan, and they had such an amazing time, that the next day they booked their flights to Vegas so they could see them again. I'm glad they'll be having a blast in my place...she promised to send me lots of pictures.

So since I will no longer be doing my video countdown to Vegas, I decided to share the video I had planned on sharing next Friday, before I started my road trip. This is a video montage of concert footage from the reunion tour...whenever I watch it I remember all the awesomeness of that night! I never get sick of watching it. The song is from their new album, The Block and is a collaboration with the Pussycat Dolls ...it's called Grown Man. It totally captures the excitement of their reunion, all the fans feeling young again...all the grown women screaming like 12 year old girls again...it's just a fun, fun video...I hope you enjoy!

Don't be too sad. It wouldn't have been the same without your BFF anyway.
I know it's sucky though, and seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity. But I'm sure they'll do it again. Their gonna make some major BANK on this tour, so they'll have to do it again!
Love the video. Takes me back. : )

I'm glad they went to someone who will really enjoy them (and that you were able to sell them so quickly...)

I'm glad you were able to sell them so quickly. It really wouldn't be the same without your friend. I went to a concert once with my husband, because my friend couldn't go and it was really boring! LOL!

So glad you found a buyer so quickly, and you still have all the wonderful memories. That's the best of both worlds. Hugs, Marty
That's definitely a "confirmation" that the tickets sold so quickly. I'm so sorry this happened. It's never any fun when plans like this get cancelled, esp. since as moms we already sacrifice so much. I just know something special will be around the corner for you! Hugs!!! :)

Aww how sad for you :(
Well, I think we all feel for you because we know it's not just any old concert... Sorry you're not getting to go, but I have no doubt that better things await you. You and Tanielle have plenty of memories to make, even without Vegas.

Now go eat ice cream. It will make everything feel better. :-)
I'm so sorry. I think the ice cream eating suggestion is a good one. But just think of all the fun you will have at girl's camp! :-)

I am so glad that they went to someone who will enjoy them! I would have the same feelings that you do if Nsync ever toured. Aw, to be carefree again:)

I'm so sorry you had to sell your tickets! I know that was a difficult decision to make. You should take the ticket money and do something really great for yourself!
That must have been so hard Xazmin. You did the right thing for your family. I hope everyone is doing better!
