What's on my mind today...

Okay...seriously? I cannot BELIEVE this is an actual ad. But I saw it. With my own eyes. Right in the middle of watching my beloved NCIS. I laughed so hard - like in disbelief.

Now don't get me wrong - I know this is a serious issue. But really? Who WROTE this?

I KNOW right?

In other news...I'm joining the revolution! The down with "No Reply Blogger" movement.

Don't know what I'm talking about? Read this over at Mamarazzi then!

And seriously...enable your settings to allow me to respond to your comments via email! Mamarazzi explains it all, and how you can fix it! I really wanna be able to reply when I love what you have to say!

I'm off to a budget meeting for the school now. I know that sounds boring...but I really, REALLY love the people I get to associate with when I go. I consider them all friends outside of just our school association...plus....free lunch! What could be better?

Just another little reminder about Mod Podge Mania on January 31. I think I might have said January 30 in a previous post(s)...but I'm just an idiot that way sometimes. January 31...be here!!

I am going to tell CJ to do a self exam IN FRONT OF ME for VDay! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
I'm just embarrassed for that actor. :s I wonder how many takes it took to get that filmed???

Wow...really? "Why give diamonds when you can give the family jewels?" Really??? Someone should put that in vinyl!!! I'd love that saying above my bed...NOT!

And...commenting on blogs is so confusing to me sometimes! I don't know how to respond when someone leaves a comment that I want to respond to! So Amen to the no-reply-blogger!
Ummm...yeah. That's what M needs to give me for Valentines Day ALONG WITH a diamond. I can't believe said "Family Jewels". I gagged a little.

We are totally starting a no reply blogger revolution! I do what Mama tells me to do. She scares me a little. Shhh..don't tell her I said that.

It's got to be said...
At least the PSA didn't encourage the ladies to "help" the men in their lives to do a self exam! "Show your man you love him, he may give you a diamond if you squeeze his family jewels..."
CBS cares.
Sorry. I'm a little embarrassed that I said that.

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t...

Holiness to the Lord

My heart is full tonight. Today I had the opportunity, along with my husband, to take our two oldest children and attend a session of the dedication of the newest LDS temple. A few weeks ago we were able to take the entire family to tour the inside of the temple during the public open house. During this time, before the temple is dedicated to the Lord, the temple is open to the public for anyone to come walk through and tour the inside. My kids were so excited - they have always asked me what it was like inside the temple. I've tried to explain it to them. There is nothing in this world that can compare to the beauty, the serenity, the absolute peace that can be found within the walls of these holy buildings. Today as we attended the dedication, I was overcome with emotion as I sat with my husband, and two of my children, sharing with them this special experience. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity. As I was waiting for the meeting to start, listening to the beautiful m...
