5 Reasons Why My Blog Rocks Party

Today I'm linking up with one of my favorite bloggy friends, Amanda. She's hosting a "5 Reasons Why My Blog Rocks Party"!

So I'm supposed to tell you all why my blog is great, why you should want to read me! To tell you the truth, I feel like I've been a REALLY boring blogger lately! But I'm trying to get my life under control so I can get back in the groove!

So here goes!

1. You can find some great craft ideas! Not only do I like to share ideas I have come up with, but I host a fun, monthly party called Mod Podge Mania, where everyone is invited to link up their Mod Podge projects to share with each other! We've had some really great parties in the past...it's held the last day of each month if you're interested!

2. I love to make new friends. I do my best to visit everyone who visits me, and take the time to get to know you. I have made some great friends, whom I consider "real life" friends, outside of the blogging world. Including our hostess Amanda!

3. You can find me linking up with some great "linky parties" that my friends host, Amanda's Decoratind Dilemmas party, Dear Someone with Shortmama (for today's entry, go here), and MiMi's Friday party, the name of which I can't reveal on my blog because of the nature of some of my readers - go here to check it out!

4. I'm open with my faith, it's who I am and I want you to know the real me. I share my goals and the progress (or lack thereof) that I'm making. If you have things you are working on, or struggling with, I can probably relate, and it might be nice for you to read about the things I'm working on, and realize that you're not the only one trying to achieve some goals, and sometimes struggling in the process. This is probably my favorite thing about blogging!

5. The silliness. Yes, I can be rather silly, and I like to blog about it. Whether it be my celebrity crushes, my obsession with NKOTB, or SYTYCD...I love to share my silliness on my blog. I like to think that it brings a smile to my readers' faces. Or maybe it's just annoying. Either way it's here!

So there's your 5 reasons...if they seem like good reasons to you, I hope you'll stick around and get to know me, I know I'd love to get to know you!

Head over to Amanda's to check out more blogs that rock!

Hugs!!! For me, your blog rocks because you have a great sense of humor and you're not afraid to share funny stories from your life. You are also a very creative person, and I like seeing the fun stuff you come up with. :) Thanks so much for linking up (and for everything else). ;)

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t
