If you're happy and you know it clap your hands...

Do you totally have that song stuck in your head now?

Today I'm linking up with Mamarazzi ....I'm sharing my happy list!

1. Meeting a dear blog friend and creating lifelong memories made me very happy.

I know I'm totally cut out of the picture...but that's what makes it a good one!

2. My new phone. It's not as fancy as all you with your smart phones...but I still likey a lot.

3. I'm happy that I am starting to recover from the death cough I brought back from Portland.

4. Soccer makes me happy. I've missed watching this boy. (p.s. Myya - his name is Chris Wingert - since you asked.)

I'm really happy to be going to the ReAL season home opener with my man tonight....our favorite date night. Yes, he knows I like to watch that guy up there - and he is totally not threatened...because our relationship rocks like that.

5. I'm even happier to be watching my talented son perform with a small group of other talented young violinists this evening before we go to the game.

6. I'm happy to be reconnected with old bloggy friends I've been missing in my blog hiatus, and to have connected with some fabulous new ones as well.

Want to share your happy? Head over to Mamarazzi's and link up.

As I am happy that you are going to the season opener, I am also jealous- we considered going to the FC Dallas opener last week, but decided not......now I am wishing that I did.

However, they traded my fav player - Dax McCartney - and now I am mad at them.

Hrump.

And I want to start getting into soccer. Portland just got their soccer team. I haven't watched it yet. The Real stadium looks awesome! Have fun!!

Your happy list makes me happy too!

I'm not a fan of soccer but I think I may be persuaded to watch that hottie for a little while. Do they ever take their shirts off?

CLAP!

Glad you're feeling better. Being sick just plain sucks.

We're stoked ReAl won tonight! We didn't make it to the game, but if they win another one, my husband says he'll rock their jersey. (He's been on the fence between his man crush on Beckham, and representing Salt Lake...)

Yay for Happy Lists!

Dang! Bookworm has gotten TALL! At least he looks tall in that picture...
YAY for your men and the soccer season opening! I don't follow soccer, but I think I mentioned to you before that I definitely prefer your guy to Tanielle's right?
Go figure that right as you get back into the swing of blogging, I would fall off the face of the bloggy planet.
Someday we'll BOTH be active bloggers at the SAME TIME, right?

The death cough was punishment for not brining me with you to Portland!

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t...

Mod Podge to the Rescue

Have you noticed that eggs and nests seem to be a common theme in home decor - especially with people making some decor changes for spring? I've seen some pretty cute stuff! For example - what do you think of these? If you like this look, you can get it at Williams-Sanoma. You'll pay $36 for the eggs, and $68 for 1 glass hurricane. They don't include the greenery! Sheesh! Maybe you could go online and find the whole look, already put together, like this: You'll pay $39 for that teeny one, and if you'd like a larger one - you'll shell out $89! Good thing I'm the Queen of Mod Podge! Remember this beauty that I found at the DI for $5? Well, I gathered up my trusty mod podge, the left over scrap book paper from this project, some plastic eggs that I got for 79 cents at Walmart, and a bag of moss that was around $2, also from Walmart. I mod podged the eggs closed so they wouldn't pop open while I was working with them, then I cut the scrapbook paper into ...
