The 3 year old who may not live to see 4....

You would think this was a picture of a little hand that got pressed down on an ink pad. Nope. It's colored. With glittery gel pen. That's right. Monkey sat under the table and literally colored her hand so much that it was covered in gel pen ink.

That's not to say she didn't get into trouble with an actual ink pad as well. Permanent ink.

Things that she ruined that day BEFORE coloring her hand with the gel pen: The carpet. Her purple ruffly shirt. Oh yeah, the best...the valentines her sisters spent all Tuesday evening making...I showed them to you here.

What she did with chapstick a little while later: colored all over the front of one of our copies of the Book of Mormon. Colored chapstick all over herself. Colored chapstick all over the TV screen.

She also snuck into her big sister's dresser drawer, where Cowgirl had put her "favortie candy" that she got at her class Valentines party. Monkey ate every last piece. We realized when we saw all the wrappers hidden in the bathroom.

I've spent a lot of time praying for the willpower not to resort to violence this week. Please bless that today goes better!

I'm linking up to my seriously so much like me (only way funnier) friend MiMi. Go check it out!

Ohhh NOOO!!! What a little turkey! My 2 year old did the hand coloring thing a little while back - matter of a fact that picture is on my blog. We are all blessed with a little stinker I tell ya. My husband & I often remark "it's a good thing she is so cute!" Not sure what would happen otherwise... ha ha ha

Oh no! I can only imagine the trouble my son is going to get into - you should blog about cleaning tips for these delightful treasures. I'll be the first to bookmark it. :)

What a naughty lil monkey!! Reminds me of Curious George..."George is a monkey, so he does things that YOU CAN'T do." If you have to put a disclaimer on a cartoon, it's pretty much gonna be sucky.

Oh know I guess that is what I have to look forward too. I am glad you enjoyed the Round Robin.
Ooooooo--someone is a sneaky pants!! Sounds like Michaela Byrd. I was able to scrub the red permanent marker off her lips b/c I caught her right after she did it. She looked like a tiny harlot. Will you just have to wait out the glittery gel pen marks???
PS. Thanks for putting my button up...I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. Hugs!!! :)

Yeah. I remember those days.
Usually it was the walls somewhere though.

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times..."terrible twos" are NOTHING compared to "wanna throttle 'em threes"! Can't wait until mine are all past that point. You're not alone, Xazmin! There are many days I call my husband at work, and tell him there is a good chance I'm gonna end up on the news!

ROTF, I'm sorry but that is so funny! I actually remember going into my sister's dresser and stealing her pack of gum and chewing each piece, while hiding behind my Mom's bed! LOL!

Oh my goodness! Now that I'm a grandma I can laugh at this sort of thing. I'm pretty sure you'll look back at this and laugh a bit! :D Sorry for the frustration now, though. This always seems to happen when you're most tired too.
Girl, we have been there - last week it was purple fingernail polish painted all over my white cabinets.

So sorry! Tomorrow will be better!

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t
