Friend Makin' Monday!

This week Amber asks us to list a few things we can NOT live without!

So here goes:

1. Mod Podge! Check out how much I love this stuff by clicking on the Mod Podge Mania link in the right column....and be sure to come back on the 30th to link up YOUR projects!

2. Music! I love music. I love playing the piano, or listening to my son play the violin, or listening to my husband and daughter sing in the church choir, or just rockin' out to my favorite tunes on the ipod! Music is a HUGE part of my family life, and I don't know what we'd do without it!
3. Fabulous Earrings! I love cute earrings. I wish I had a different pair for EVERY outfit!

Of course, there's all the important stuff too, like my family, friends, and faith! What can you NOT live without?
Head over to Amber's to link up and make some new friends!

Sadly, X, (i think i'll call you that cuz it sounds uber cool) I never knew what Mod Podge was until I started stalking your blog. Now I can't live without it!
I can NOT wait for Mod Podge Mania this week, cuz I have 2 rockin' projects! I find that as long as I have some MP and some pretty paper, I can make anything! For FREE usually! :)
Music too, for me. I just found these new Christian rock bands called Casting Crowns and I can't remember the other one, but I'm LOVING them. :)

I must be using it wrong because every time I use it I say I'll never use it again. It stinks, it's sticky....

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
