Devastation...

Well...I haven't had a chance to watch Tuesday night's competition for SYTYCD...I had Young Women's and Board interviews that night...HOWEVER...I did find out some devastating news. Really.

Remember I told you Billie Bell was just incredible to watch? I honestly think he was the best dancer in the competition. Well...he's out. He's out due to illness, and he didn't even get to compete once! I am so sad. Especially because usually once you make it to the top 20, you're not allowed to audition again. Hopefully they'll make an exception in his case, since he didn't even get the chance to compete.

I just wanted to share my sad news. And of course leave you with a video in honor of Bille Bell! Skip to 0:41 if you want to just see the dance.

We'll miss you Billie!

I was so sad to see him go before he had the chance to really participate, too! :-(
I was SO bummed when they announced that!!! If they're considering allowing the other guy (who got voted off) to audition again, then they need to let Billie in as well. It's only fair. I was sooo looking forward to seeing him dance. :(

I really liked Mollee and Nathan, and I also enjoyed Legacy and Kathryn together and was SO bummed Noelle didn't get to dance. I like her a lot too! No favorites yet though.

HATE the new stage...it feels closed off to me.

Maybe they will let him come back..
Oh no - that is too bad! Did you get your blog figured out on FB? It's kind of tricky. I still haven't figured out how to get the widget from Networked Blogs onto my blog...

XOXO

I was very sad to hear this on the show. What on earth did he get that would take him out the whole season??? That's some sickness!

I just can't get into SYTYCD, so I appreciate all your updates, because it does keep me in the loop and I don't look like a total idiot when other people are talking about it! LOL

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t...

Mod Podge to the Rescue

Have you noticed that eggs and nests seem to be a common theme in home decor - especially with people making some decor changes for spring? I've seen some pretty cute stuff! For example - what do you think of these? If you like this look, you can get it at Williams-Sanoma. You'll pay $36 for the eggs, and $68 for 1 glass hurricane. They don't include the greenery! Sheesh! Maybe you could go online and find the whole look, already put together, like this: You'll pay $39 for that teeny one, and if you'd like a larger one - you'll shell out $89! Good thing I'm the Queen of Mod Podge! Remember this beauty that I found at the DI for $5? Well, I gathered up my trusty mod podge, the left over scrap book paper from this project, some plastic eggs that I got for 79 cents at Walmart, and a bag of moss that was around $2, also from Walmart. I mod podged the eggs closed so they wouldn't pop open while I was working with them, then I cut the scrapbook paper into ...
