Can you believe it?

Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm safe to write about this, because I don't think my cousin "J" reads my blog. If you're reading this, J, stop right now! I mean it!

Okay so J is staying with my mom and dad while she goes to school here in Utah. She LOVES soccer. So a few weeks back her parents sent her some money to go to a ReAL Salt Lake game. ReAL(pronounced REE-AL)is our MLS team. I LOVE ReAL games.

Hubby and I bought tickets and the 3 of us went. Of course it was awsesome.

For J's birthday, my brothers and I decided to get her a ticket to go again, and then we would all get tickets and go with her. Only my brother "D" thinks soccer games are boring. "They only score like twice and the game is 90 minutes long!" as he puts it. And it would be kinda pricey to get a ticket for each of my family of 6.

So we decided to just get 2 tickets for her, and she could invite a friend, or a date. So guess who she ivites? MY BROTHER D! Yeah the soccer complainer!

Can you believe it? She knows how much I LOVE this guy:

Chris Wingert #17 baby!
Isn't he cute?

In fairness to J, she probably thought I wouldn't want to go without Hubby (yeah, she's new here - love ya babe!), AND we went together last time and D made an excuse why he couldn't go, so she probably thought he "missed out" last time we went. AND we are going to SYTYCD together (my mom and her mom gave her that ticket), so she probably thought it would be a good thing to invite D...but seriously. Can you believe it?

I love my cousin J. I'm seriously not mad. It's just I really wanna go! AND it's as if even Costco was mocking me today when I went to get groceries...all the flat screens were playing ReAL highlights...I am not even kidding!

Aww you need to tell her. I'm sure she'd be upset if she knew she wasted a ticket on the "hater". I hope you get to go!

hahahaha That is funny (sorry) because that sounds like "D". Anyway, hopefully he'll suggest she take you instead since you're the ReAL fan! :) However, D will probably need a hint -- like being hit over the head. haha (and I say that with love!)

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

What would a party be without us BOTH?

Y'all didn't really think we were gonna party seperately did you? Not when we have so much fun TOGETHER! And it's better this way, because it means you have TWO chances to win an awesome Blogiversary giveaway! One year ago today, Tanielle and I both started blogging. For me, I thought it might be a good way to promote our hairbow busines. But I quickly learned that the true value of my blog was in the wonderful women I've met and the wonderful friends I've made - some who have even become close friends outside of Bloggerville. I've laughed, cried, been inspired, and received the best comments from some of the smartest, funniest, kindest ladies I've ever known. Thank you all for all of it! And thank you Tanielle for partying with me, and for being one of the people I've had the most fun with in my life. Ever. 10 things I love about Tanielle 1. I love that she shares a maturity level equivalent to mine (in it's near non-existence!) 2. I love that s
