Blogger Expertise Needed!

First I want to remind everyone to enter my Handmade for Fall Giveaway - here!

Next, I am sending a question out to all you blogging experts:

I have a friend who is the principal of a school. He keeps a principal's blog. He would like to find a way to create a list of his staff members' birthdays that will automatically post a happy birthday message to them on the day.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I know he can do scheduled posts for each of those days, but I'm wondering how far in advance Blogger will allow you to schedule, and how many posts? Also, just wondering if there is an easier way than manually scheduling each separate birthday post.

If you have any advice for me...I'll love you forever!

sorry...typos...up there! you might show a Principal..i can't have that!

I have heard of "scheduled-posts" i think it is an option underneath where you create your New-post...it says "post-options"...then just update the post date and time to the day you want the post to publish...then select publish...on the exact date and time you selected it should appear. then do this with as many posts as you need to do...individually with each birthday.

....i think!!...maybe play with it and see if that is how it works...I don't want to be responsible for messing up a schools Blog...i'd be terribly depressed...hope it helps though!

...if it works do I get an extra entry to your contest...oh..I so hope it works! ;)

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t...

Mod Podge to the Rescue

Have you noticed that eggs and nests seem to be a common theme in home decor - especially with people making some decor changes for spring? I've seen some pretty cute stuff! For example - what do you think of these? If you like this look, you can get it at Williams-Sanoma. You'll pay $36 for the eggs, and $68 for 1 glass hurricane. They don't include the greenery! Sheesh! Maybe you could go online and find the whole look, already put together, like this: You'll pay $39 for that teeny one, and if you'd like a larger one - you'll shell out $89! Good thing I'm the Queen of Mod Podge! Remember this beauty that I found at the DI for $5? Well, I gathered up my trusty mod podge, the left over scrap book paper from this project, some plastic eggs that I got for 79 cents at Walmart, and a bag of moss that was around $2, also from Walmart. I mod podged the eggs closed so they wouldn't pop open while I was working with them, then I cut the scrapbook paper into ...
