What do my pins say about me?

I thought it would be fun to "showcase" what I've been pinning, when I was thinking about what I should blog about today.  At first I thought maybe I would somehow pick 3 pin boards (I have 18),  and show you my most recent 3 pins on those boards.  But then I didn't know how I would pick which boards to show you.  So then I thought I would just pull up all my pins (I have 1083), and show you my most recent 6 pins.  Here you go!

So basically my pins reflect that I am obsessed with shoes and food? I don't know - I have some cute shoes, and I AM fat - I guess that would be an accurate assessment. What do your pins say about you? Follow me here if you want to see what else I'm all about!

Just last night I was thinking to myself..."why are all my pins food related?" Ha ha! Once in a while I think about pinning totally random (for me)stuff...like tattoos, just to mix it up a little.

I love shoes too but they just don't make the cute ones, like your pins, wide enough for my fat feet to fit into! He he.
Shoe porn and food porn. I'm good with those pins. I have TONS of food porn on my boards.

But do you have Ringer or Revenge on any of your boards?
I, too, am obsessed with pinning food. I'm following your boards now. I need to devote more time to Pinterest. OK. Maybe "need" is a little strong. I NEED more time in my day so that I could actually attempt to make some of the things I do see on Pinterest. By the way, totally in love with the houndstooth shoes you pinned! LOVE!

My pins would say that I'm obsessed with nail polish and cupcakes, and that would be accurate. =)

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t...

Mod Podge to the Rescue

Have you noticed that eggs and nests seem to be a common theme in home decor - especially with people making some decor changes for spring? I've seen some pretty cute stuff! For example - what do you think of these? If you like this look, you can get it at Williams-Sanoma. You'll pay $36 for the eggs, and $68 for 1 glass hurricane. They don't include the greenery! Sheesh! Maybe you could go online and find the whole look, already put together, like this: You'll pay $39 for that teeny one, and if you'd like a larger one - you'll shell out $89! Good thing I'm the Queen of Mod Podge! Remember this beauty that I found at the DI for $5? Well, I gathered up my trusty mod podge, the left over scrap book paper from this project, some plastic eggs that I got for 79 cents at Walmart, and a bag of moss that was around $2, also from Walmart. I mod podged the eggs closed so they wouldn't pop open while I was working with them, then I cut the scrapbook paper into ...
