Dear Someone

Dear Shortmama,

Sorry I'm so late linking up. Also...so sorry you're sick. Hope you're better soon!

Your Friend,
Xazmin

Dear Fatty Food,

I love you so much. I wish I wasn't so attracted to you, but I just can't stay away. You have me under your spell, and I just can't seem to get you out of my mind.

I tell you I'm through with you, yet you just keep drawing me back in. I know you're no good for me yet I keep taking you back. I guess I'm just one of those weak girls after all who is a fool for love.

Ashamed of my lack of willpower,
Addicted to love (of food!)

Dear Exercise,

I'm sorry for all the times I've stood you up recently. I never meant to hurt you, but my heart belongs to someone else. Someone who is no good for me.

Not like you. No you, you are the one I should remain faithful to. I know you are the one who will be good to my heart. I'm sorry I can't love you like I should. But I will keep trying.

Let's start over, shall we? I'll meet you tomorrow at the treadmill. I promise to try harder to give you all my attention, and stop thinking about that other love that is no good for me. I truly want to love you, and maybe, with enough time together, I can learn to.

Yours sincerely,
The one who wants to be healthy. Okay, hot.

I'm linking up to Shortmama's "Dear Someone". Go check it out!

Exercise = ugly and sweaty.
Nachos and Dr. Pepper = yummy and cheesy.
Easy choice.
And this is why I will remain a fatty.

Cream Cheese is one of my favorite foods... it is my downfall for sure.
No willpower and a decided lack of desire to exercise - more traits you inherited from your mother I suppose. I AM SOOOO SORRY!!!!

I could have written these letters. I love the way you signed the second letter.
Great letters! You have a talent for writing. Thanks for the smiles.

Love your letters! I could write those myself...always a constant battle between my love for all things yummy and my no love for exercise (or at least no time for exercise). I'm starting over too. I secretly would like to be hot, as well. :)

I say you meet up with Mr. Treadmill sometime..oh..maybe in January...that should be when all the "good food" is put away for the season and then you won't feel so bad when you stand him up!

...ps...mr. treadmill SUCKS...you need to start a relationship with Mr. Elliptical....he's much hotter and better on the buns! ;)
Yep... yummy & fatty. Nope...treadmill.

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
