It's in the cards

I've been waiting for this day to come, ever since Amanda told me she was going to have this party! It's a crafty cutter love party!

I scored my Cricut a few years ago on Black Friday...I got $600 worth of product for $200! Merry Christmas to me!

The last time I participated in a blog swap was AGES ago...but I think my swap partner totally scored. One of the items I included was a set of all occasion cards, handmade by yours truly. I had a blast being creative with my Cricut:

I have one cartridge that I particularly love - I use it most of the time. It is called "Walk in my Garden". It has all sorts of adorable flowers and little garden bugs. SO CUTE!

I don't have any great tips or tricks. I like dimension on my paper crafts, so I am crazy for the 3D adhesive foam dots and squares - you can pick them up for cheap at Walmart. They just add a little pop to your project.

And everyone loves to get a handmade card...don't you think? I know I do!

SO PRECIOUS!!!!! Oh my gracious! I love them! I've never made a handmade card, well, unless you count when I was in Kindergarten. These are absolutely gorgeous! I am so impressed with you right now! Love them! Great job!
Xazmin, your cards are gorgeous!! I love receiving homemade cards b/c I know the giver put thought and time into the project. My fave is the one with "friends" b/c of the cute button embellishments. The tip about the foam for dimension is a great one!! I usually just glue stuff down. I like that idea. :)

Thank you so much for linking up with my "I {Heart} My Crafty Cutter" party. :) Loves ya!

Your partner was lucky! Such cute cards
Everyone always talks about their Cricut. Please tell me what it is. I have ZERO creativity but I like your cards. Maybe I could do them too! I won't get my hopes up.

I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at!
