I'm here!

I did not fall off the face of the earth! Promise!

You see, I was internet-less again for a couple of days, and then last week was seriously the most insane week I've had in I can't remember how long!

My sweet Pixie turned 8....then was baptized 2 days later. So I had a bunch of kids over for a party on her birthday, then had to clean up THAT mess so I could entertain friends and family 2 days later who were attending her baptism.

I sorta just crashed after that. But I'm back! And I have lots of stuff to tell you about. Tomorrow I'll show you the pictures from Pixie's baptism - it was such a beautiful day.

On Thursday I'm going to share her Chocolate Birthday party! It was a lot of fun.

So just wanted to check in, let you know I'm still here - and I'll be making my way around to visit all of you! I know you all thought I was turning back into the slacker blogger - but not so!

Hope y'all are having a great week!

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

Mod Podge Mania!

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at! (example: Xazmin - decorative eggs) Last, go check out everyone's fabulous projects and let the inspiration begin! You can link up as
