Friday Confessional

I'm linking up again with Friday Confessional. I wonder how many friends I'll lose this week?

I confess....

I wasn't supposed to have a Dr. Pepper until Valentines day...but a couple weeks ago when my cousin came over to hang out, she bought me one - and I totally caved.

I confess...

I totally slipped my newly single girlfriend's number to the hot guy at the sports shop in the mall we went to yesterday. Now I am regretting it, because I feel like it was so high school, and he probably thinks I'm an idiot.

My second mistake was admitting it to her. So now if he doesn't call - she will feel rejected.

I want to smack myself sometimes.

I confess...

I think I need Depends for when I go running because I have such a leaky bladder. Seriously.

I confess...

My husband is a way better husband to me than I am a wife to him. I should really work on that.

I confess...

After last week's insanity, I have been a total bum this week. Like a serious bum - I have accomplished NOTHING.

And THAT is why I haven't posted about Pixie's Chocolat Birthday Party. Next week...promise!

Well, now that I feel like such a winner...time to actually clean up my house - for the first time this week. Want to read more confessions? Just click on the button.

I feel the exact same way about my husband! He is a pretty patient guy to put up with me. :s
I've been a total bum this week too. Sick kids, sick me, snow days equals no progress in the cleaning department. I gotta get some laundry done or my kids are going to school naked next week.

Girl, my Hubby brought home a 2 liter DP last night. It's half gone. I feel your pain!

Can't wait to hear about the party!

Isn't it great to have a wonderful hubby, my Mr. is amazing. He is so much better to be then I get to be to him. I try but he leaves me in the dust :)

Enjoyed your confession

Have a great weekend!
I think your friend should be happy you were looking out for her. :)
I love a good Dr. Pepper....ooooh and with Sonic's crushed ice. SUPER DUPER YUMMY! But I'm usually just a boring water drinker (and a Captain drinker too-duh).

I think all women who have had some lil childrens could benefit from wearing some Depends at one time or another....especially when *some* women go out and drink.

My hubs is awesome too. :)

This is a funny post! Confessing does make you feel a bit better, doesn't it?

I'm sure the situation with your friend will work out just fine, but I know what you mean. You know the saying... all roads are paved with good intentions. =)

I tried to go 8 weeks with out soda. I made it 4 and then accidentally ordered one with my meal at Mickey D's. Oops!

I totally can relate to the depends confession. I tried to jump rope at the gym and jumped twice and squirted. Oops! again.

Great confessions!

love your confessions.

i am pretty sure you would have made it to Valentines day had your cousin not brought you a DP. but NOT accepting it would have been rude, so i am here to tell you that you did the right thing. totally.

you were also well intended on the phone # thing, so no need for smacking.

serious bummer about the bladder.

i bet your hubz would say the same thing about you being better to him than he is to you. seriously. all couples feel like they need to "do better" so just do and don't sweat it. cuz i think you are wrong. and i am always right.

really. i am.

it is also totally 100% fine to take a week to be a bum after a hard week.

cuz i sad so.

again. i am always right so you can believe me.

i am also sure you will get those pictures posted soon. your blog isn't going anywhere.

so you feel better right? all validated and junk?

you. are. welcome.

I think it is cute you gave your friend's # out. Look at it a different way... what if this is her future husband. You would be a rock star then!!!
The whole Depends thing... I have had this cough for almost 2 months now & I swear I am almost at needing them! Uggghhh dang flu season!!!

I haven't accomplished anything in over a week either! Motivation has NOT been my best friend lately.
I totally hear you about the need for Depends...don't forget about jumping on a trampoline! That's a tricky business too...

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t

I am so super excited for our first edition of Mod Podge Mania! I love this stuff, and I LOVE getting new ideas for how to use it...so hopefully this will be a great place for "inspiration" where we can all get some fun new ideas! So here's how it will work. Post about a project on your blog, along with instructions on how you created your mod podge masterpiece! OR you can do a post featuring a project you have seen someone else do, just to pass the idea along. Just make sure you give credit where credit is due! Also, make sure to include a link back to my blog in your post! Next, link up by entering your name and copying the URL to your post into Mr. Linky - he's waiting at the bottom of this post. It would be helpful if you put the name of your project along with your name so people will know what they are coming to look at!
