Thanks Xazmin for the love. I woke up this morning weepy. It has been amazing how many special moments I have missed this year since the death of my dad. Enjoy yours while you can...it ends way to soon.
So sweet. :) I always miss my dad a bunch on this day. Hope you and the kids enjoy your man today!!

I sometimes take my relationship with my Dad for granted, he lives close and for the most part is very healthy.

My daughters very good friend lost his Dad just 2 1/2 weeks ago, he was military and was doing a training demonstration when he lost his life. My heart just breaks for this 15 year old boy, his 12 year old brother, his mother and anyone else today who is missing their Daddy today!

That is so thoughtful of you to remember people who don't have their dads anymore. I am grateful mine is still around, but realize there are many who aren't blessed with that right now. So thankful for The Plan of Happiness!! Glad you have a great husband!

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! I will do a giveaway of Fall items - handmade by me!" So today I'm linking up with Heidi , and introducing my Handmade For Fall Giveaway as I show you what I've made for Heidi's party ! Sound good? First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Start by cutting your napkin down to a manageable size, slightly bigger than your tile. Next spread a layer of mod podg onto the t...
