Better Boy Band?

Ahh....Valentines day. Remember the song Valentine Girl? If you're in your 30's I bet you do! Remember who sang it? Did you love them? Did you hate them?

I'll admit it. I'm a fan of the Boy Band. There's something mighty attractive about a group of young men with nice voices harmonizing for our listening pleasure. Most of them aren't too bad to look at either!!

So my question to you is this: Who's the Better Boy Band?

New Kids on the Block
or
The Backstreet Boys?

I wanna know what you think. Leave me a comment - take the poll (upper right corner of blog)! Let's discuss this all too important topic. I'll tell you what I think after you all tell me what you think!

Definately Backstreet Boys!
Personally I prefer The Beachboys, Kingston Trio and The Lettermen!! (Am I dating myself?)

Definitely NKOTB, probably b/c they were huge when I was in college in the (ahem...cough, cough) late 80's, early 90's. I just thought they totally rocked and college was a blast so it always takes me back there when I hear one of their songs.

I read your Diorama post and thought I needed to tell you a funny story. A couple weeks ago I made a diorama with my older twins...they wanted to do one with dinosaurs. So we created one and when my husband came home at the end of the day, my son ran up to him and said, "Guess what we made today? Diarrhea!! And mommy helped us!" They could not get the word diorama straight no matter how many times I repeated it to them. My husband just gave me the wierdest look.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!! Your children are gorgeous!!!!
Well, I'm going to have to go with Backstreet Boys since I was about 5 years old when New Kids on the Block were popular... Yes, I said 5. But really NSYNC was my favorite :-)

I haven't cheated on my diet yet! And it's been... 9 hours! Go me!

Stopping by from SITS
ahh, that would be NKOTB!!
They were before Backstreet Boys.
You can't go wrong with thier songs! They were the original "boy band" that danced and sang.
Loved them!

I'm over 40 (I know, hard to believe)...and I don't think I'm into the boy band thing. Maybe I find it overwhelming, I dunno.

NKOTB, hands down! I was in elementary school when they were big, but I thought they were as cool as it got. I was gonna marry Jon, and my cousin was just sure she was gonna marry Jordan. We even went to a concert in 4th grade. I was on cloud nine about that for years!

New Kids, of course! Gosh, I remember seeing them in concert when I was in high school. Ok, that's enough of that, I'm showing my age now! Hee, hee, hee!

Great blog, Xazmin! I aslo want to thank you for stopping by my little ol' blog!

If I had to choose, I'd pick BB. But one of my best friends would say, without a doubt, NKOTB.

Hmmm...what a showdown that would be? Battle of the boy bands. I vote for Backstreet Boys.
I would vote for the Backstreet Boys. But this is not a very knowledgeable topic for me.

Stopping by through SITS.
I am kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I get the two bands mixed up. I do listen to Justin Timberlake though...

I wonder what the results will be!

Visiting from SITS. Congrats on being saucy!

Unfortunately I'm no help in the poll; I couldn't pick between the two, I have no clue of either of their music.

I was a HUGE BSB fan. I have all their CDs and actually taped the "Everybody" video so I could learn the dance routine at the end. In case you're wondering how that turned out, I could actually accomplish it fairly successfully lol. Yes... Backstreet for me please!

I'm stopping by from SITS! You Saucy lady! ;)

Sorry! Haven't listened to either! I think I've heard of the backstreet boys though.
Congrats on sauciness and all that jazz.
Loving the rockin' spotted background.

I am too old! The New Kids on the Block were babies to me. I liked the Backstreet Boys-- but I was a married gal with a baby or two at the time...
I'll check back when you have an 80's band favorites post! :D

I grew up with the Backstreet Boys loved them but I thought N'sync was better. My sister had Backstreet Boy posters on her side and I had Nsync on my side:)

I still have my NKOTB cassette tape! But I voted for Backstreet Boys because I think they did a little better vocally. Of course I'm running on memory here and we all know what a tenuous thing that is!

Oh my...NKOTB ALL THE WAY!!! They were my very first concert I went to, and I will never ever forget it. Sitting in the nose bleed section I was positive that Joey and I made eye contact, it didn't matter that I was only 14 years old, it was destiny! When the Backstreet Boys came along, I tried to like them but they just couldn't measure up. I'm sure they're really nice guys though ;)
Ahaha! All my friends had HUGE New Kids buttons and such on their jean jackets. I hated them, but I might be the only one on Earth who did back then. I was more of a Motley Crew girl, myself - love those bad boys! :)

Stopping by from SITS - I have to say New Kids. It was a tough decision, but they win. I was in loooove with Jordan back then... can't remember why looking at him now, but I was so much younger... ah those were the days. I'm going to go sing The Right Stuff now...
Oh yeah, I'm stopping by from SITS and wantet to say congrats to your sauciness!

This is right up my alley! I was really young when the NKOTB were popular, but I was in love with Joey (I voted for them) but my real love was for *NSYNC!

Congrats on being Saucy!
