Business Spotlight


Just wanted to do a quick spotlight on my small business venture. Being the mother of three little girls can be overwhelming and exasperating! But also rewarding and inspiring. My little girls are my inspiration for Ribbon Blossoms Chic Boutique. I have joined forces with a wonderful friend who has 3 inspirational daughters of her own. It started out with hairbows and headbands, but is quickly expanding as we learn new ways of doing things, and get fun new project ideas. Everything we make is something we know our own little girls will love, so we are confident in the smiles our items will bring to other little girls.

Our line has grown to include bow holders, bracelets, bibs, tutus, pixie wings and more. We have many new ideas in the works as well! Our website is currently under construction, but in the meantime we have several listings on daisycraft.com. Here is a small sampling of some of our products. You just posted on my blog because I found you through the new daisy site. I am so glad you did, if I don't win your tutu which I have never been lucky so probably won't... I am wondering how small they are? I would love one for my photography but I just wonder what the sizes are. Thanks! cgdesignphoto@yahoo.com.

Hand Made for Fall - A party and a Giveaway!

I've been a busy girl! I have been wanting to do a giveaway for Fall, and when my fab friend Heidi revealed that her Monthly Craft Challenge for October would be Fall-themed crafts, I thought "YES! First, a while back I showed you some coasters that I made, but it was clear back when I first started blogging, so I'm going to show you again with this new seasonal set! This idea has been floating around blog land, and I've seen several different variations. Here's how I do it. You will need: paper napkins, 4x4 ceramic tiles, 4x4 cork squares, MOD PODGE (what else?), sponge brushes (not shown), and polyurethane (not shown). Holiness to the Lord

My heart is full tonight. Today I had the opportunity, along with my husband, to take our two oldest children and attend a session of the dedication of the newest LDS temple. A few weeks ago we were able to take the entire family to tour the inside of the temple during the public open house. During this time, before the temple is dedicated to the Lord, the temple is open to the public for anyone to come walk through and tour the inside. My kids were so excited - they have always asked me what it was like inside the temple. I've tried to explain it to them. There is nothing in this world that can compare to the beauty, the serenity, the absolute peace that can be found within the walls of these holy buildings. Today as we attended the dedication, I was overcome with emotion as I sat with my husband, and two of my children, sharing with them this special experience.
